Restaurant-Menu-Management
2024OOP restaurant menu & order management system
The Restaurant Menu Management System (RMMS) models the day-to-day of running a restaurant's menu and orders in code. Managers can customise menu items, take and track customer orders, and the system applies discounts based on a customer's order history before generating an invoice — a nice example of business rules (loyalty, pricing) expressed through object-oriented design.
Built as an OOP coursework project, it comes with a class diagram and a written report documenting the design decisions. Because the source ships zipped inside the repository, the README here documents the system; the full code is in the repo archive.
Highlights
- Customisable menus with full customer-order tracking.
- History-based discounts and automatic invoice generation.
- Designed with a documented class diagram and OOP principles.
